ARTIST'S STATEMENT

“There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.”

– Edith Wharton

I’m a candle, using my light to reveal environments and express emotion. I cast shadows and illuminate the unseen. I use light to tell stories, create atmospheres, inspire, and lead individuals on adventures. I burn the brightest and shine the most when I am using light to create art.

I’m also a mirror for others’ lights. I reflect the hard work and passion of my talented collaborators. I recognize and appreciate the different perspectives of my colleagues and work to bring out the best in those around me.
